Examples from co op classes and other classes:
This was a group project, each student getting 1/8 of the picture to draw.
These two drawings are from two students that were given the same directions:
to place lines, circles, dots and textures or filling space.
Although this picture is not easy to see, these are three pastel works created by three students. Each student cut a stencil from a piece of cardboard and learned how to use the pastel in different ways.
Testimonies:
FYI, our daughter went to this class this last Monday and came home with a great art project...
She enjoyed herself and is looking forward to the rest of her classes...

I feel my children learned several very key elements that they will remember and be able to use even later on, should they pursue art in the years to come. Mrs. Hayes is an excellent teacher and I highly recommend her.

My daughter, Gabrielle, was a student under Mrs. Hayes' wonderful instruction. She loved her art class. She learned something new with every class, such as: perspective drawing, shading & technique, even how to proportionally draw a human face...I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone, any age.
Sincerely,
Becky H.
Mrs. Hayes' art classes were the high point of my 11 year old son's summer. On the first morning, he wasn't sure about going to class because his artwork is very personal for him, and he is shy about other kids seeing his work, but when I picked him up, he was so excited. Mrs. Hayes had put him at ease and inspired him! He brought home beautiful projects which we proudly display in our home, and during the last class of the summer, he confidently told her that he was an artist. Mrs. Hayes is a terrific teacher, and I recommend her to everyone.
