I had the best of intentions for posting through out the summer...
Hasn't happened yet!
However, there has been a lot of art going on around here.
Summer classes have taken off in full force and I have been enjoying every minute of them.
There have been classes for young ones, and older ones.
Art appreciation/application classes and just plain art.
We have done a variety of things. Some projects are right out of the blog, others from elsewhere.
Here are some pics from recent sessions:
Pop-the-hand
using straight lines and curved lines to shape and shading
to form a three dimensional looking hand
Monet's bridge over a pond of water lillies
acrylic on water color paper using masking technique
Casting vs. Molding
using playdough and plaster of paris to create
a cast of a mold with a fossil theme
Teens!
Two FABULOUS sessions, so far, with a wonderful group of teens.
Pear still life with acrylic
Abstract with masking technique
With both of these projects, it is amazing how differently these turn out!
Class times are still available for the remainder of the summer.
