Photo Gallery #14

Winter Trees

With Christmas on Tuesday, I thought it would be nice to give you the ornaments, project #15, early so to have plenty of time to do them!

So, the more I thought about it, I decided to post this gallery and the next project early....

We had a white Christmas here in Texas! The boys were sooo excited about that.

Funny thing is that I had to use my coarse grain sea salt for the side walk (which wasn't enough, anyway) to melt the ice.

So, we had to use all we had on hand, that was table salt. Not effective! I had them load up an old toothbrush with white paint and gave them a toothpick to rub on the bristles as they were centimeters away from the art work. This gave a speckling of white paint over the work to look like snow flurries.

P.S.
That technique was very messy! Keep it very close to the paper.
